New Baseball Return to Play Version - Back to training

Carillon Minor Baseball Association Parent/Player,

The health orders announced on Friday May 7th will cause some adjustments to the baseball programming that the CMBA and your local baseball association was planning to provide this season.  Although the adjustments are not convenient, the CMBA is very pleased that our players will be able to continue practicing at the current time.

Return to Play Adjustments:

  • Organized baseball activities may proceed in a "group of 5" or less participants. Coaches, players, and Health and Safety Coordinators are included in the "group of 5."
  • Spectators are NOT allowed
  • Indoor training is NOT allowed

The need for activity to be in a group of 5 (4 players and 1 coach) means that more volunteers are needed to provide the programming. Your local association is working hard to provide practice opportunities for your son/daughter and your support would be much appreciated. The CMBA was planning for a June start to league play and we remain hopeful that baseball competition will commence at that time

As always, the health and safety of all of our stakeholders including players, coaches, umpires, spectators, volunteers, and the public, is of the utmost importance to the CMBA. We kindly remind everyone to follow Manitoba Health's fundamentals in combating COVID-19.

Thank you,

CMBA Executive
